TEACHING EXPERIENCE

After teaching elementary school for 5 years, I have had a promotion to stay at home taking care of my 3 beautiful daughters. I have taught many grades in many places. I began teaching on a First Nations Reserve then I went overseas to Egypt where I taught grade 4 in a Canadian International School. On my return to Canada I taught K-6 music. I have also taught private piano and voice lessons.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I was always such a last minute teacher! No matter how much I planned and prepped, I always found myself rushing to find just the right activity and the schools I taught at did not have many resources. So that is what I have packed my store with! No prep resources you can click, print, and use. No prep, no additional resources or manipulatives needed. Just the thing for when a student is struggling with a concept and needs extra practice. And extra activities for those super fast students who come to school with all their math homework done for the next month! (Yes, it happened once!!)
