I have been teaching for 19 years. My experience is in pre-k, kindergarten and first grade. I am a National Board Certified Teacher. I earned my certification in 2006 as an Early Childhood Generalist. Three years ago, I began a collaborative teaching adventure with Kelly Parrott that we call "Our Smart Community".

I have been happily married to my husband, Todd for over 24 years. We have two girls, Katherine and Emma. Katherine is a freshman at Harding University and Emma is in 7th grade this year. We are very involved in our church and whatever our girls are doing. My passion, besides my faith, family and friends is... teaching and inspiring others. I love what I do everyday. I am blessed!
