TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught 5th and 6th grade Language Arts for nine years. I have also taught 5th grade math, social studies, science, and computers. For the past two years I have taught Title I. Now I have made the move to 2nd grade!!! In addition to teaching, I have also been a basketball and track coach for the past 12 years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

It's my goal to provide a positive, safe, and fun learning environment for all of my students. This includes incorporating hands on, relevant, and engaging activities in my classroom on a daily basis. Everyone learns in a different way, and I keep that in mind when creating my classroom instruction and activities.
