TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my 16th year teaching in the same elementary building. I have taught kindergarten for the past ten years, but have spent time teaching 4th grade, 2nd grade and a k/1 class. I have also been the Kindergarten Coordinator fom my school district for the past 6 years. I work with such an amazing knowledgeable team, and they make me a better teacher every day.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I feel that kindergarten students learn best from a hands-on approach. This year I am implementing some Whole Brain Teaching strategies-It has been an amazing learning experience!! I recommend it to anyone that teaches elemetary children. I am seeing more success with WBT than I ever thought possible. Good teachers never stop learning!
