TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Having taught US history and Spanish for 12 years, I transitioned to being a curriculum specialist for over 5 years. My focus shifted to helping fellow teachers discover resources that match their curriculum and boost student mastery. It's been quite a journey from the classroom to this role, and I'm all about supporting educators and students in a meaningful way!

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style? It's all about getting hands-on and interactive. I want students to be excited and engaged while they learn. I'm a big fan of weaving social studies skills into everything we do – that way, they not only grasp the facts but also learn to think logically and deeply. A classroom's a place where curiosity rules, and we're all about exploring together. The goal? To make sure students not only understand the subjects but also pick up real-world skills that stick with them.
