Thirty four years in the classroom from grades k-8.Was building representative for Building a presence in Science. Presented at the Detroit Metropolitan Science Teacher's conference for 3 years. Presented at the Michigan Science teacher's Conference once. Gave workshop on G,L.O.B.E. and also on Hogwarts laboratory . Helped write curriculum for kindergarten, second grade hands on math, fifth grade language arts. TA on line in conjunction with NTEl-Burns for soil science.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Active involvement between students and teacher, students and students. A lot of hands on and small groups. I start out the large group, the class and then usual break up into small groups. sometimes use centers or stations . Also The children's work is always displayed
