TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught at the high school level for five years and am currently on my fifth year at the middle school. I have been in Special Education for ten years with all of those years focused in English/Language Arts. I am also certified in Science and Social Studies. For the last seven years, I have also taught Introduction to Computers classes for the local college.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I feel that students learn by doing. I give my students work that has them up and moving around. My PowerPoints usually allow the students to come up to the board to practice or interact with the lesson. I try to vary activities for all learning styles and differentiate all work for all types of learners.
