I am blessed to be entering my 13th year of teaching Kindergarten this year. I couldn't imagine spending my days any other way!
When you walk into my classroom, the first thing you will see is the quote: "The Future of the World is in This Classroom" based on the poem by Ivan Welton Fitzwater. It is my hope that I can inspire each of my students to achieve their dreams, and realize that they are capable of more than they could ever imagine. I love to bring stories and math lessons to life by creating hands-on activities for my students to use. I believe that students learn best when they are fully engaged in their learning. As teachers, we need to remember that learning should be fun! I can't wait to share some of our favorites with you!

When I'm not dreaming of new things to try in my classroom, I love spending time with my wonderful husband, son, and daughter. They keep me laughing and remind me to treasure every moment that we have together!
