I have taught Kindergarten to grade 6 as well given many professional development seminars. I am a trained Reading Recovery teacher, and have been a literacy specialist, working with at risk students in all grades and subject areas.
I believe in inquiry based learning, with teachers setting the environment in their classrooms to allow for maximum opportunity for their students to learn and develop.
I have over 40 years of experience teaching primary and as a literacy specialist. I wrote 60+ teacher resources and I am an acclaimed author across Canada. I was an innovator in directly attaching activities to curriculum outcomes. I have since retired but still love teaching, which brought me to TpT. I am happy to share my resources and knowledge!
