Kimmy Shenanigans

With a lifelong commitment to working with children, five children of my own, and five years of experience as a paraprofessional, I bring a deep understanding of the needs and challenges of young learners to my role as a special education teacher at the elementary level. My journey in education has been shaped by a passion for nurturing young minds and a dedication to creating inclusive and supportive learning environments. My experience has taught me the value of patience, empathy, and flexibility in meeting the diverse needs of students, and I strive to create engaging and personalized learning experiences that empower each child to reach their full potential.

I like to have a relaxed and informal approach to education, focusing on creating a comfortable and enjoyable learning environment. I often prioritize building rapport with their students, using humor and personal anecdotes to engage them. I like to be flexible with lesson plans, allowing for spontaneous discussions and student-led activities. This approach emphasizes the importance of individual student growth and learning at their own pace, fostering a sense of autonomy and self-motivation.
