I have sixteen years teaching experience in Fullerton, California, most of which was in a K-3 Multiage Program. I loved my career and miss it, now that I am no longer teaching, due to sustaining a serious accident. I would like to offer others some of the resources that I have created over the years, as well as some new ones that I create as a hobby. (It's difficult to take the lesson planning out of the teacher!)
My teaching style is hands-on and experiential. I believe that children learn best by "doing" and that they flourish in an environment where they feel safe and secure.

I am a mother of three, an elementary teacher, and a woman who had it all figured out; that is, until March 30, 2011. On that day, I was involved in a devastating accident, which changed my life forever. Surrounded by my loving family and friends, I am relearning to live, as I have been given a second chance at life. I desperately miss teaching and cannot quiet this part of my brain, ...my heart, ...my identity. Having frequently found myself still creating lessons and educational activities (because it's "what I DO"), I have decided to list some of my lessons and units here. This will allow me to focus my energy and channel my creative energy towards something that I love, while hopefully providing inspiration to others.
