I am currently a 2nd/3rd grade Reading and Math Interventionist and Dyslexia teacher. I have taught for seven years. My first six and a half years I was in the classroom teaching Kindergarten and 1st grade.
Hands-on learning and student-centered! I do a lot of small groups in order to differentiate to my students' needs. Of course, we also have a lot of fun! :) Lots of singing, dancing, arts and crafts!

I received a BA in Child Study and Language Development from Southwestern University in Georgetown,TX. I am recently graduated with my Master's in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Language and Literacy from the University of Texas in Austin.
I like in Austin, TX with my adorable goldendoodle, Maya. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was 4 years old! I absolutely love what I do and I am so blessed by it. In my spare time, I love playing with my puppy, reading, writing, watching TV/movies and eating yummy Mexican food!
