TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a jack of all trades - teaching 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade in 4 different school districts and 4 different schools. I am finally in my home base and am excited to improve and grow my own child's district!

MY TEACHING STYLE

Love. Logic. Compassion. Natural consequences. Respect. Real world. There is no way to describe my style- it is my own, but these are some of the things I really focus on. I will say I am pretty kooky and like to make learning fun! :)

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I received my Bachelor's degree from UWSP December of 2014. My first half year of teaching, I taught English Learners! My second year I taught 2nd grade at Granton Elementary School. My third year I taught 1st grade in the Wausau School District (Maine). My fourth year I taught 3rd grade in the Wausau School District (Maine). My fifth year will be 3rd grade in Wausau again! (Finally staying at one grade level and the same school!) My sixth-eighth years were in 2nd and 3rd grade in the DC Everest School district. This district will forever have a big piece of my heart. My eighth school year was a roller coaster. Another district made me an offer I couldn't refuse and I accepted a job 15 minutes from my house vs. the 45 I was driving. I, for once, put my family first and am giving more time to them!

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I am 32 years old. Fiance to a wonderful man and Mommy to a wonderful 6 year old boy whom we adore. We live in Central Wisconsin. Lover of Target and Starbucks!
