I love movement and giving student choices. I was differentiating instruction before the phrase became cliche. Most of my favorite ideas come to me on the way to school in an "Aha!" type moment. I teach from the back of the room, not the front anymore, and keep my students active. Middle school students are going to talk and move around no matter what you say. It is what they do. So I tell them where to go and what to say.
