TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught high school English for 32 years, and I am still learning and growing as a teacher and person. I am always looking for ways to turn on the light bulb in my students' minds. Many of my ideas have been gathered from bits and pieces of others' works as well as my graduate studies in English. I hope you find something to help you connect with your students and challenge them at the same time!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I use a variety of methods in my classroom, some old school and some new. I like cooperative learning, student presentations, power points, videos..... Anything to get the point across!
