By Kaci Z SLP I graduated from the University of Central Florida with my Bachelors and Masters in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I completed my CF in multiple skilled nursing facilities in the Tampa Bay, Florida area during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. Then I worked with all ages 1-88 in a private practice for a short period time before being offered my dream job at a local Neurologist office working as the main adult cognitive rehabilitation therapist.
I have always been successful with connecting with each patient and their caregivers while getting to know what is important to them, what they want out of therapy, and what would improve their overall quality of life. I use this information to create goals and therapeutic interventions that will keep their motivation and interest as well as make their lives easier and decrease caregiver burden at home if possible. I created this TPT page to add more creative, fun, and functional materials for clinicians to use with both inpatient and outpatient adults.
