My experience begun in New Zealand as a pre-registered Primary School teacher working at the school that I grew up in. I was a teacher of 34 students at Year 5 & 6. After two years of working in that position and taking on the school sports-team management and helping to lead the e-learning team, I moved to the UAE. In Dubai, I worked in an International Baccalaureate School within the Grade 5 (Year 6) homeroom teaching team. Over time, I had become the Grade Level Coordinator and the pandemic hit forcing us all online. This is where my passion for online and digital creating started. After 2 years in the desert, I went back to New Zealand and taught a specialised literacy programme to Year 2-4 students. I was partially to a Year 3 & 4 Homeroom class while also taking on many middle-management roles in the school. I finally decided to head back out to the big, wide world and take on another International Baccalaureate School, but in Singapore. This time as a Homeroom teacher of a Year 4 class.
