Jordan has previous employment opportunities with the City of Barrie in dance, aquatics and inclusion has fostered an interest in children’s development, and learning. It has also provided Jordan with opportunities to develop versatile strategies and communication skills to work with many different age groups and cognitive abilities. Jordan is a recent graduate of Practical Nursing at Georgian College. Jordan has thoroughly enjoyed her previous work experience with children with developmental differences and hearing impairments and have continued in similar roles. During my summer breaks, as a nursing student, Jordan worked at the Tim Hortons Children’s Camp in Tatamagouche as a counsellor where as part of her role she would organize, occasionally evaluate, and lead children ages 12-17 in a variety of outdoor education programming.
Jordan has mainly worked as supply EA to support children's learning by providing 1:1 support in the classroom.
Jordan maintained a spot on the Dean's List throughout Nursing School.
Jordan is a recent graduate of Practical Nursing at Georgian College and is currently working as a Registered Practical Nurse in Obstetrics in Ontario and supply EA to support children's learning in the classroom. Jordan currently works as a RPN in a Postpartum unit to care for new moms and their babies.
