TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I currently teach 8th grade math and Algebra 1, but I have also taught high school Biology, AP Biology, Physics, Physical Science, College Algebra, and remedial math. Some of my posted materials reflect my past teaching experiences.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My favorite way to teach is to have students be the active ones in the classroom with me moving around to groups being their 'coach'. I also enjoy allowing students to use their creativity and approach problems in multiple ways.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have bachelor's degrees in Math, Biology and Middle Level Education and a master's degree in Education.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Besides teaching I love spending time with my family, especially being outdoors with them, and spending my own quiet time crafting. Even though my crafting times are becoming less and less frequent, I love what I do and where I am at in life!
