Jerry Nuzum

I have taught general music and choir in public schools in Montana and Arizona since 1999. I have taught private lessons in guitar, drums, piano, bass and voice. I've played guitar, keyboards and harmonica with bands at several east, and south valley venues. Before I went into teaching I was an announcer and production director for six Clear Channel radio stations.

Fast paced, with a lot of humor and movement.

I received the E.B.Crany award for radio commercial of the year for the northwest broadcasters for a commercial I produced. I wrote and performed all music and copy for the commercial. I have received several awards for teacher of the month.

Graduated with honors with a BME from the University of Montana.

I also write, record and teach my own music programs my students perform for their parents, friends and relatives based on their classroom curriculum. These are the programs I wish to offer on this site. Due to increasing school budget cuts, I strongly believe that if the community sees how music supplements what the students are learning in their regular classrooms, there may be a future for our music programs.
