I believe in a student centered teaching philosophy where students are given the power to learn via necessary tools (instruction) but choose their own path by problem solving via group work, research and communication. This power to make decisions leads to skill building and most importantly, confidence for each individual learner. I believe the most important feeling a teacher can give a student is confidence.

Being a teacher is the ideal career because I learn something new every day. As I continue to learn, I want to share with my students as well as my fellow teachers what helps me in this perpetual process. All of my materials have been tested in my classroom and resulted in a positive experience for both me and my students.
