I have taught in multiple grade levels in general education and special education.
The joy of seeing children develop and grow into their future keeps me motivated while teaching young minds. Children and youth need routine and structure in their everyday academic skills to continue to improve...but there should always be a dash of excitement and creativity!
I have been awarded multiple grants in language arts and youth summer activities: Camp Exploration (career camp for children), The Cart (social stories coffee delivery program), Storytelling Totes (literacy based art), Readers into Leaders (reading proficiency program), and Rally Cap Summer Outreach (West Michigan Whitecaps events for students going through a tough year).
I graduated from Central Michigan University with a degree in Elementary Education: Special Education Major (EI) and Language Arts Minor. While studying, I focused a majority of my class selection on Communication Disorders and Psychology.
My husband and I have two amazing little boys--Jaylen and Ethan. They are the inspiration behind JEcreativity. Follow us on Facebook or our Blog: @JEcreativityLearningAdventure www.jecreativity.com
