TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I'm currently tutoring Japanese through the service "Wyzant". You can check out my profile and reviews here: https://www.wyzant.com/match/tutor/88632494/?onlineOnly=false&search_id=35d74249-6d7e-49d1-b8b3-078386221645 Prior to this, I lived in Japan for 4 years and taught English. When I worked at an English conversation school, I taught students from middle school age and older. My last year in Japan, I taught at an elementary school.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I'm focused on student participation and love when students bring their own interests into the lessons! While we go through the material, I am aware of when students are struggling and am happy to expand on the material to assist them. Practical application is also important to me.
