TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for 2 years however I come from a long line of teachers in the family! I love my kindergarteners and enjoy watching them group throughout the year!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe that 5 and 6 year olds are more capable than we give them credit for! In my classroom I have lots of opportunities for choice and independence. This is always easier said than done, however once I step back, it's amazing what those kiddos can do!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated from Portland State University with my bachelors in the School of Social Work. I then continued my education through Portland State to get my Masters in Elementary Education. I spent 4 years traveling the world teaching and working on different military bases to provide a summer program for the kiddos who's parents were deployed.
