I have taught in a second grade classroom for a year, where I taught a title l school. Many of the students were not at grade level, and I had to learn to engage each child appropriatley, even during whole group time. During my year of teaching there, I learned different ways to reach and help each child individually, while working with each of them as a whole. I now teach Pre-K in a small early learning center. I have 12 students, and I love the day to day interactions I get to have with each of them. My goals for the year are to make sure that my Kindergarten bound students are all on track and ready for their next adventure.
I believe in making sure that I am teaching in a way that helps all children. A range of hands on, visual, and auditory learning goes on in our classroom. I love to create activities and plan to make each learning experience like a game so that students don't get bored or lose interest too quickly.
