MY TEACHING STYLE

I adapt curriculum materials and implement strategies such as Orton Gillingham, explicit vocabulary instruction, and small group guided reading to scaffold learning for struggling students. My collaborative nature allows me to effectively work with general education teachers, service providers, and paraprofessionals to construct and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that incorporate student and parent voices. By integrating social-emotional learning, utilizing behavior intervention plans, and establishing individualized support systems, Overall, my teaching style is student-centered, data-informed, and focused on meeting the unique needs of each learner.
