TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Hi! My name is Jessica, affectionately known as Jivey! I have 10 years of classroom teaching experience in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades, and 7 years of professional development delivery experience in ELA and Social Studies. I am currently creating curriculum, sharing ideas, and mentoring other teachers, as well as continuing to deliver professional development sessions on utilizing mentor texts and mentor sentences in the classroom. Although I miss being in the classroom, my passion has always been to help instill best practices in other teachers, and I'm so lucky to be able to call my dream, "a job." It is humbling, yet exciting, to know I am affecting classrooms worldwide!
