TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have loved my 12 years of teaching and look forward to many more. Each school that I have taught at has had its own uniqueness, but I have learned that all students everywhere can achieve greatness with some push and help. I have worked with a multitude of special ed students, general ed, gifted, and ESL & LEP, and have created memory techniques to help students retain information. Using mnemonics, acronyms, and memorization techniques, students have had an easier time remembering important curriculum information.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I specialize in cooperative learning strategies and creating a higher level of student discourse. I love to hear my students talk and discuss history. It is amazing the debates that they can partake in with a little bit of guidance and structure.
