I have been teaching since 2006. The classes I have taught have included environmental and adventure classes, archery, canoeing, gardening, botany, games & initiatives, leadership, art, yoga, and more. My most recent passion to teach is art and yoga.
My philosophy is to help each student learn and to see my students improve. It brings me pride and great joy when my students achieve their goals. I’ve seen the most success working with students 1:1 and small groups.

I am a biology graduate who took an interest in art late in her career. I took ceramics as a senior and found myself in the guild more often than the biology lab. A few years later, I fell in love with making glass mosaics. I see Mother Earth as the original artist and inspiration of all beauty. I create art because I love the creative process. I have been making art professionally since I was eleven and sold earrings at a fair. My overall vision is to make art that makes people feel. I donot limit my work to a single theme, but rather create art as my mood dictates. I love learning new techniques and hearing criticism to improve my work. I have created an abundance of jewelry for sale online. I can be inspired by anything; my day, the weather, the medium, symbols, stories, and memories. I am influenced by Van Gogh, Warhol, Picasso, Pollock, Monet, and Kahlo.
