History With Mrs W

Hello! I am 2nd year social studies teacher. My first year I taught MYP/IB where I taught 7th grade World Geography under the Individuals and Societies discipline. Currently, I teach Modern World History and Human Geography at the high school level.

My teaching style focused on collaboration, critical thinking, inquiry, and engagement through student led lessons, activities, and assignments. I find that students learn best by doing the work and experiencing the history themselves rather than just being talked at about it!

I am a two time Coastal Carolina University Alumni! I have a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Master of Arts in Teaching, along with a Read to Succeed Endorsement.
