Having taught high school and college for all ability levels of learners, differentiating instruction is second-hand. Making CONNECTIONS for students at all levels, ages and abilities is the key to success. Connect what they are learning to something else, something different, something from their world, and they not only retain material better, but they make the content their own and share it with others. It enhances critical thinking, problem solving and creativity in other areas of their life as well.
