7 years teaching health education in NY public schools. 3 years teaching physical education in NY public schools. Health department team leader High School Leadership team member Extensive training in quality assessment writing to include rigor, common core standards, and state/national health standards.

Guided discover is a huge part of my teaching style. I do not give notes. Rather, the notes serve as background for students to help them find answers to questions. I heavily use critical thinking skills and a variety of engagement activities to involve students in their learning.
