I absolutely love using Reading and Writing Workshop. I also use my own work to help my students become the best readers and writers in the classroom. I enjoy using a workshop model to help my learners grow and develop. Incorporating a math workshop within the classroom, has helped my students enjoy learning and sharing ideas together.

I am an interdisciplinary teacher. I by incorporating the arts within my lessons, the students have learned to visualize and make connections with the subjects that I am teaching. They also enjoy working together to create projects , participate in plays, and learn how to grow and develop their skills in all subject areas. I am also a facilitator which allows the classroom to be student directed most of the time .

I was nominated to be the teacher for the entire state of New Jersey. I have also been the Teacher of the Year.

I have a background in psychology , art, theatre, elementary education , and special education.

Everyday I teach , I learn something new. My students are the movers and the shakers of our world , and I am so honored to help them grow and develop every year.
