Having graduated from university with a BA in English, it wasn't until much later that I realised my dream of teaching and educating young learners. When we made the family decision to become expat travellers (current stop - HK & Macau, Asia!), I undertook TEFL certification with specialities in young children and one to one teaching, and now I teach from my own bright and colourful classroom at home! I have taught so many wonderful, earnest and bright little ones over the years, and so I decided it was time to branch out and offer the resources I create and use in my classes with you.
Whilst I embrace the future of modern teaching methods and new ways of learning, such as the introduction of resources designed for use with white boards, tablets and phones, I firmly believe that young children from preschool to kindergarten still need to practice their fine motor skills - learn to use a pencil, experience cutting and pasting, and interacting with their hands...all those activities that really help to make learning fun and engaging.
Bachelor of Arts (Hons) English with 2 years Psychology. TEFL certified.
