TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for 26 years at the High school level. I am broad field certified and have taught all Social Science courses, but my expertise is in U.S History, Economics, Government and World History.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is creative and collaborative getting students moving and involved. I am a visual learner, so a lot of my teaching involves images.

I was one of the three nominees for teacher of the year at my high school in 2019.

I have a B.S degree in Secondary Education from Lee University, a Masters degree in Post Secondary Education from Troy University and an E.D.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University.
