Growing Sound Play and Learn

In 2023, GROWING SOUND Music (under the direction and ownership of David Kisor/Kisor Music LLC) began a partnership with GROWING SOUND PLAY AND LEARN (under the direction and ownership of Alyson Bleistine/Albie Enterprise LLC) to bring music, play and learning together to promote positive social-emotional development in children birth-age 8. David Kisor is an award-winning songwriter, composer, producer and educator that has trained over 80,000 educators on how to use GROWING SOUND songs in the classroom. David has written extensively for the classroom and the stage and has penned over 300 songs that feature themes of hope, optimism, kindness, gratitude, confidence, creativity, curiosity, attachment, mindfulness, motivation, self-control and more. He has also collaborated with early childhood professionals and Speech Pathologists to produce music for education and therapy. Alyson Bleistine has an extensive background in both music and children's products and has initiated many strategies to bring the two together. She currently operates an online toy store featuring books, toys and gifts for use in the classroom and at home, for children birth-age 8. Parents, Teachers and other Caregivers who visit the site are introduced to Growing Sound songs as they peruse and shop. GROWING SOUND and GROWING SOUND PLAY AND LEARN plan to move forward together in partnership to develop additional (original) digital products including songs, games, printables and lesson plans.

GROWING SOUND and GROWING SOUND PLAY AND LEARN both believe in the research that supports childhood development and how to find fun and creative ways to apply this in the classroom and at home. We believe in strength-based teaching and reinforcing the positive social-emotional potential already present within each child.

David Kisor holds a Master of Music degree from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelors of Music from the University of Miami. Alyson Bleistine holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from Alvernia University.
