Greg Caskey and HipHoponomics

I currently teach Historical Economics and Asian Studies at the Delaware Military Academy. I earned a Masters of Economics and Entrepreneurship for Educators from the University of Delaware, and developed HipHoponomics in the context of that program. I have released two HipHoponomics albums over the last two years, and the lyrical lessons to implement the tracks in class are available here. The aim for my classroom is to facilitate an active, dynamic, and memorable learning experience for students. I seek to do this through creative and fun assignments such as HipHoponomics and having students create Memes/Gifs, but we also rigorously analyze primary sources, have Oxford-Style debates in class, and write research papers. Students must be kept on their toes!

I recently was honored with the 2017 Delaware Business Times "40 under 40" award. HipHoponomics was featured on the front page of the Delaware News Journal in May 2017, was covered by NBC10 Philly during primetime news during June 2017, and was featured and praised in a syndicated column by renowned economist Dr. Walter E.
