Welcome! Loralie Cole-Holmbo has been specializing in gifted education and differentiation for more than 10 years. She has taught in a variety of settings, including the Zuni Pueblo Reservation in New Mexico, an Expeditionary Learning charter school, and several urban schools where she lived in Denver for 14 years.
Loralie fondly remembers her own fifth-grade teacher, Ms. Dianne Grando - who included many hands-on and cooperative activities - and tries to model her classroom after those wonderful experiences.

She currently teaches in a district gifted and talented magnet school-within-a-school model and has her B.A. in English (Magna cum laude - 1995) and her M.A. Ed. (Literacy Emphasis K-12: 1999) from the University of Colorado - Boulder. She attended the ELL Endorsement Academy in Spanish (2014), was trained by the GO FOR IT! Institute (2011), participated in the Colorado Music Educators Association conference (2003), survived a Colorado Outward Bound for Educators - Rafting and Canyoneering Course (2001), was trained in the LindaMood-Bell Phonemic Awareness program (2000), traveled for a Spanish language course at Escuela de San Jose el Viejo, Guatemala (1996), and loved being a Play for Peace volunteer (1997-2006).
Loralie loves to camp, hike, cook, ride bikes, walk her dog, swim, travel, and watch movies with her husband and teenage daughter.
