Over the last 18 years, I have worn many hats in the field of education. I began my career in special education working primarily with autistic children in home programs, and later within school districts. I have worked in both public, and private schools as a special education teacher and a general education teacher. I have taught 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade. Currently, I'm working with a company called Advantage 4 Kids producing educational math videos for kids.

I love "setting the stage" with relevant, innovative, and fun activities which inspire kids to think and ask questions. I see myself more as a guide rather than a teacher. A teacher directs, whereas a guide sets general parameters, keeps participants on the path, and remains flexible in an ever changing environment.
