TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught ESL for two years overseas in Seoul, South Korea. I have now been teaching ESL for the past 8 years in middle school, grades 5-8.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a very structured teacher who likes to set clear goals for each class period. I create my own units and lesson plans most of the time since I teach a stand alone ESL classroom. I love to get students actively engaged in project based learning. A balance of structured learning outcomes and personal choice for students makes the classroom a dynamic place where students drive their own learning.
