This fall will mark my fifth year as a first grade teacher at a Title I school in Ohio!
I love to lead my students to discover new concepts on their own and while working with peers.
Looking forward to big things soon :)
After many years acting as a 4-H camp counselor, serving as a peer tutor, and volunteering in local elementary schools, my heart was led to teach! I am a 2014 summa cum laude graduate of Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. I recently returned to complete my Master of Education with a focus in K-8 science and mathematics education. Thanks to both my undergraduate dual major, as well as my post graduate endeavors, I have become certified to teach a wide range of grade levels: PreK-5 general education, PreK-12 special education, and K-8 math and science.
When I'm not busy in Room 11, I enjoy taking long walks with my rescue pup Kelso, baking sweet treats, dabbling in photography, and spending time with family and friends.
