I have been teaching high school for 9 years in Family and Consumer Sciences and Technology Education. I have mainly taught FACS classes such as Counseling and Mental Health, Child Development, Lifetime Nutrition and Wellness, Culinary Arts, Principles of Human Services, and many more. I also have taught Interior Design and Architecture for those years as well.
A passion for teaching hands-on learning is a dedication to providing students with immersive, experiential educational experiences that actively engage them in the learning process. This approach emphasizes the importance of direct interaction, exploration, and practical application of knowledge. It recognizes that students learn best when they can see, touch, and experience concepts firsthand, rather than solely relying on passive forms of instruction.
