I have experience in birth to 3rd grade. I have found my home in 1st grade. I plan to stick here for the majority of my career. First grade is such an influential year. Their passion is burning and it is our job to keep that flame burning. I also have a background in Special Education. I planned to use that in the general education classroom so that all students that come into my classroom felt safe and welcomed. I wanted to have the knowledge to create a space where they could learn to the best of their ability and to the best of my teaching ability.
I believe that all students in the classroom deserve an education. We often hear 'all students should be treated the same" but I feel that all students should be treated differently because all students are different. No matter their disability or level in school. I believe that students are eager to learn and is our job to help the continue their love for education. I have a passion for a having a responsive classroom and setting up the classroom in the first six weeks of school.

I have a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education, with a minor in Special Education. I strive to get my Masters in some form of education but my heart is still deciding what path I want to take with that.
