I've been teaching science for nearly 3 decades as a public, private, and adult education teacher, (simultaneously for most of those years). I have had the pleasure and honor of teaching both local & international students from nearly every age and walk of life. Served on and lead committees locally, and at the state & national levels. Designed and continue to enjoy developing unique, and innovative science curriculum and programs.
If you observed my classroom over a period of time, I think you would see a mixture of hands-on, inquiry based activities as well as a bit of lecture-demonstration-discussion. The classroom mantra is, 'SERIOUSLY→FUN'. Which means learning can be difficult at times but still enjoyable. I believe the classroom is a place where mistakes are celebrated along with successes. Recently, I've been messing around with 'Flipping' my classes; anyone else trying this? So I have made a few tutorials which are available for free on YouTube or on my webpage → http://eyelearn.wix.com/eyelearn
