When teaching transformations in middle school, rotation seems to be the trickiest. I give this "cheat sheet" to my students to use during the lesson, review and the pre-test. Many students memorize it quickly, others rely on it throughout the unit.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I love working with students who need that "little bit more", because no one else has taken the time to slow it down, and break it down into smaller chunks. I get frustrated with store made worksheets and units that put many skills into one worksheet and assume the students understand. I am skilled at creating worksheets that introduce one step at a time, and build on those steps. Hope you find them useful.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is very direct and consistent. I enjoy adding humor and mixin' things up when the students least expect it. I have high expectations, and wish my students the best.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I have been teaching exceptional education for more than ten years in all sorts of settings. I enjoy the students, and focus on their successes and less on politics.
