Excellence in Teaching

I have taught all grades from pre-k up through high school for literature, composition and history. I have been a classroom teacher, a homeschool electives teacher, a private tutor and a homeschool mom for my own children. I currently homeschool my kindergartner and middle schoolers and I am also a pre-k and kinder STEM teacher. In my spare time, I also volunteer as the lead editor and writer for a genealogical publication in Tennessee.

I have a passion for teaching pre-k and the younger elementary grades and I firmly believe that the little guys can learn about more advanced topics than we give them credit for. The unit just needs to be brought down to their level. It is my sincere hope that my passion for the subjects I teach will help inspire my students to become life-long learners with passions of their own for the world around them.
