Erin Elizabeth Doll

I am a second year elementary teacher with an MA in Teaching. Prior to teaching I received my BA in child psychology. While going through school I did several clinical teaching placements in grades Pre-K through 12. As a hobby I am a choreographer for many school musical productions and even taught high school dance for a short period of time. Working with kids is truly my life's calling. I have worked in a variety of schools with a diverse group of students.

I love the STEM curriculum and have a passion for making learning accessible to all students. As a person with dyslexia, and the challenges I faced as a young student, I have the unique perspective to combine what I know about teaching with my own experiences as a learner. I design all of my activities to be aligned to the rigor of the state standards (TEKS) while also providing the necessary scaffolding and extension to meet the need of every student in the classroom. The activities always put the content goal first and then incorporate fun themes to make learning more engaging.
