I graduated OT school and was licensed/certified in 2006. I started work for our local hospital and worked there for 13 years in various settings. I initially worked in acute care and outpatient neuro for five years, mostly outpatient neuro filling in to help out with acute care when I had cancellations or free time. I then went into management and was the rehab director at a long term acute care and skilled nursing facility owned by the hospital for 3 years. I missed working with patients and the interaction it provided so I returned to the clinic and worked in hospital's oncology rehab department for 3 years. Then the opportunity presented itself to transition to the school system in 2019 when my youngest daughter started K5. I have been here since and love (almost) every minute of it!
