TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught 8th grade for one year, where I was a special education teacher. After that, I taught fourth grade for a few years. Ive been a third grade teacher for the past five years and I love it!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in active learning and fostering an environment that encourages all students to achieve their learning goals. If you walked into my classroom you would see a controlled chaos approach; where students are engaged in projects, centers, and various activities. The majority of my lessons are centered around STEAM- I believe students learn more when they get to construct, make, engineer, and try new approaches!
