TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been a teacher for 15 years. I began my career teaching elementary: 1st, 4th and 5th grade I was also an Elementary Math coach I then moved to middle school where I teach pre-algebra, algebra and architectural engineering

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style focuses on teaching math through engineering design challenges, open ended questions, investigations, higher order questioning and student led discussions. I am able to integrate multiple subject areas through writing to explain, vocabulary development, children's literature, current events, financial literacy along with science and engineering investigations.
